(18+ with Chemotherapy-Induced Neuropathic Pain)

Do You Suffer from Nerve Pain After Chemotherapy?

You may qualify for a clinical trial of Halneuron®, an investigational, non-opioid treatment for chemotherapy-induced nerve pain.

What is CINP?

Chemotherapy and other cancer treatments can sometimes damage nerves in the extremities such as the fingers, hands, arms, feet, and legs. This condition is known as chemotherapy-induced neuropathic pain, or CINP.

Some types of chemotherapy are more likely to cause nerve damage than others, and experts believe CINP is experienced by up to 60% of people who receive these treatments. This can occur in patients undergoing treatment for many types of cancer, including breast, colon, lung, prostate, and others.

If you have previously undergone taxane or platinum chemotherapy and now struggle with symptoms including pain, tingling, electric shocks, burning, or numbness in your hands, arms, feet, or legs, you may qualify to participate.

About the Study

Doctors at ES Clinical Research Group are accepting new participants for a clinical trial of Halneuron®, an investigational non-opioid medication for the treatment of neuropathic pain due to previous taxane or platinum chemotherapy.

Halneuron was developed as a non-addictive, non-opioid treatment for certain types of chronic pain. It is administered as a small injection under the skin in your doctor’s office similar to an insulin injection.

Study at a Glance:

  • Study type: Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter trial
  • Condition: Chemotherapy-induced neuropathic pain (CINP)
  • Treatment period: 14 days
  • Total visits: 10 study visits + 1 follow-up visit at 4 weeks post-treatment
  • Cost to participants: None, all study-related care and medication is provided at no cost.
  • Compensation: Participants may receive a stipend for their time and travel
