Stella Gurgova
MSc, CPI, CCRCStella Gurgova is the Founder/ CEO of ES Clinical Research Group. Her career holds almost 15 years of comprehensive clinical research experience across all phases of clinical trial execution. Starting as a Clinical Research Coordinator in 2009, and working through various roles including Sub-Investigator, Senior Clinical Trial Manager, and Associate Director of Clinical Operations.
Stella has contributed to and managed 60+ clinical trials spanning neurology, cardiology, internal medicine, pain management, oncology, and rare diseases. As an ACRP Certified Principal Investigator, she is recognized for her commitment to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), data integrity, patient safety, and the ethical conduct of research.
In her leadership role at ES Clinical Research Group, Stella oversees a multidisciplinary team dedicated to operational excellence, innovative site management solutions, and strong collaborative partnerships with sponsors, CROs, and investigators. Her mission is to advance high-quality, patient-centered research that drives meaningful improvements in healthcare outcomes.
Samiha Rahman
Samiha Rahman is a Clinical Research Coordinator at ES Clinical Research Group, where she plays a key role in supporting the execution of clinical trials through meticulous coordination, patient management, and adherence to research protocols. She brings a diverse background in clinical care and research operations, informed by her prior experience in pediatrics, dermatology, and mobile medical services.
Ms. Rahman is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the CUNY School of Public Health. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Hunter College and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Bard High School Early College. Her previous research work at Northwell Health Pediatrics strengthened her competencies in data collection, analysis, and patient-centered research methodologies.
She is skilled in electronic medical records systems, data visualization, and project management, and she is fluent in English and Bengali, with proficiency in Spanish. Ms. Rahman is committed to advancing high-quality clinical research and enhancing patient care through evidence-based practices.
Azhar Hussain
DHA, MBAAzhar Hussain is an experienced clinical research professional with a strong foundation in clinical trial management, regulatory compliance, and data integrity. He holds a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration and an MBA in Healthcare Management, bringing scientific knowledge and business acumen to the clinical research field. With over a decade of research experience, publishing hundreds of research articles and managing Phase I-IV trials, Azhar is dedicated to advancing clinical outcomes through ethical and efficient research practices, ensuring adherence to GCP guidelines.
